Soul-Centered Photography

Coming soon – a 6-week e-course:

Soul-centered Photography: Lifestyle photography for the blogger – capture every day beautifully!

Photography is a huge part of my creative process. I carry a camera most everywhere I go, hoping to document my inspiration and capture the images that make my heart happy.

In Soul-centered Photography, I’ll be sharing everything I know about creating images that show the world the beauty of your soul – the people, places and things that warm your heart and tell a story.

You won’t need a big, expensive camera (though it may help). I shoot with a Canon DSLR, a small Canon point-and-shoot and my iPhone 6s. While all different, what they have in common is my style.

What you’ll learn

Soul-centered Photography will teach you the basics of photography and examine how what you see thru your heart translates into photographs you can post on your blog to tell a story. You will also be able to take what you learn and improve your Instagram story-telling style or create a digital book showcasing your new talents.

By the end of the course, you will have developed your unique story-telling style and will have the tools to share those images with the world via your blog. Whether you’re a lifestyle blogger, a mommy blogger, a food blogger or a DIY/arts and crafts blogger, there is something for everyone in this course.

Course format

This course runs for 6 weeks. You will receive an email each day Monday through Friday. Each week explores different topics, beginning with basic photography techniques and diving deeper into personal style and making your images blog-ready. Each week, you will also read an interview with a lifestyle photographer whose style I admire. Throughout the week will be several photography prompts, designed for you to pick up your camera and get shooting. At the end of the week, I’ll share all my fun resources for you to learn even more.
