Deck Review: Lumina Tarot by Inner Hue

The postman brought me happy mail the other day – the Lumina Tarot deck and guidebook I’d ordered arrived from Australia! I debated for quite some time about purchasing this deck, but in the end, the cards just spoke to me. Someone I know who is very into tarot purchased this deck and failed to connect with it, eventually finding it a new home because …

Tarot deck review: The Magical Realism tarot

I really like this deck. It's unique. It captures the beauty between photography and digital editing beautifully. She shoots and then works in Photoshop to achieve the ethereal look of the cards. A good word for them would be "dreamy."

I treated myself to another new tarot deck – the Magical Realism tarot by Cheryl Fair on Etsy. This deck was created in 2014 and published in January 2015. The Magical Realism tarot is another rather dark deck, in my opinion. (Anyone seeing a trend here?). The 78 card deck comes beautifully packaged with a black velvet drawstring storage bag for the cards and the …

My 2017 year-ahead tarot card reading

Shortly before 2016 ended, I sat down late one night and pulled a reading for the following year just for fun. It was suggested in Susannah Conway’s Unraveling Your Year workbook and despite doing the workbook every year for the last four years, this year was the first time I did the actual reading. I used my favorite deck: The Wild Unknown Tarot Deck. For …
